ABK6 underground bunker

The bunker is designed as a fully autonomous underground disaster shelter to protect six adults for 1 to 6 months without the need to leave the shelter. The bunker was designed and developed to protect people during and after disasters such as earthquakes, storms, forest fires, power blackouts, nuclear plants accidents, terrorism, nuclear or chemical terrorism, air strikes, nuclear, chemical or biological wars. It has all the necessary equipment, essential for survival and communication, and equipment that make housing more enjoyable on a longer period of time. The bunker has curved shapes, its walls are not straight, it lacks loads of traction, and is specifically designed to withstand external pressure and ground shock that exceeds 8 degrees on the Richter scale.


Bunker technical data:

Structure:

Made of treated steel sheet, 10mm - 30mm thick, with high resistance to pressure and corrosion protected by rubber-priming in bright white. The inner surface can be kept in a good sanitary condition with almost any cleaning solution. Metallic connectors are treated against corrosion by galvanizing.



The hatch:

Both entry hatch and escape hatch as well as the communication and utilities hatch are built to be ballistic shields against electromagnetic pulse EMP (instant energy field, intense, which can overburden, or impair from a distance numerous electrical systems and high technology microcircuits, that are particularly susceptible to power blackouts. A large scale EMP effect can be produced by a single nuclear explosion detonated high in the atmosphere, and at a smaller scale the EMP effect can be created using non-nuclear devices with powerful batteries). The bunker has hydraulic or manual hatches which are capable to raise 10,000 pounds of debris sitting over it.

Seismic Joint:

All connections at the bunker entrance have a seismic joint that allows bending during ground shock and normal movement of the earth.

Standard equipment:

1. Multiple filtration and sterilization system, consisting of a HEPA filter, active carbon filter, TEDA carbon filter and an ultraviolet sterilization chamber. The air filtering system is configured in the form of sealed batteries with ventilators, 700 - 1000 m³ / h (100w), and contains the following filters:

  • - spark proof metallic filter - used to remove grease or fuel vapors;
  • - impregnated active carbon filter - a microcellular absorbent material with a large absorption area that is used for purifying gas and air;
  • - fiberglass filter with progressive density - used for aerosols, airborne dust and metal contaminants (heavy metals residues As, Pb, Cd and protein precipitates)

2. Electric equipment / power generator – there are two ways of supplying the bunker with electricity: externally by single-phase 220 ​​V power connection that goes through the transformer and internally with a generator. Four 12 V batteries are used to store the electric current. The electric network inside the bunker is at 12 V, being distributed to lighting, filtration system and radio installation. LED lights are used because they have a very low power consumption, generate very little heat and have a long lifecycle. Television only works when the bunker has an external power supply (or a diesel generator, which is optional). The electric generator available with the standard version of the bunker is ecological in the form of a bike, with a power of 300 W, equipped with a charge controller and voltage regulator with 12V AC outlets and surge protection. The generator produces between 0 - 40V DC and 15-20 A nominal power. Electrical power generators provide the necessary power to lighting, air filtration and radio. Optionally you can install a silent diesel generator, with a fuel tank and exhaust system.

3. Communications - The bunker is equipped with a radio station for listening to what is happening outside and to communicate, with gsm signal amplifier antenna mounted in a protected environment, with internet connection, and optionally with video camera.

The radio station can be programmed with up to 32 channels in a wide frequency range and can work in repeater mode or base station, depending on the application. The radio station includes priority scanning capability for efficient communications monitoring. The station can be programmed to perform a sequence of five commands for special operating events. For example, during a power failure and repeater shift to a backup power source, it can be programmed to switch the function to reduce consumption and to send a CW ID for announcing the situation.

4. 4. Water installation – The water supply is outside the bunker through a valve located at the surface. The storage capacity of the reservoir is 1500 - 2000 l. Inside the bunker water is distributed to the bathroom and to the sink located in the living space.

5. Sewer installation – fixed toilet with ceramic bowl without water tank, containing a wastewater tank with a capacity of 50l, visitation door for wastewater tank. Waste water is disposed at the surface with the aid of a pump.

7. 8. Storage – the bunker is equipped with ergonomic storage system for storing food and clothes.

9. The living space consists of the sleeping area equipped with six beds of 80x200 and dining area equipped with sink and heater. The shelter is equipped with facilities for recreational activities: television, dvd-player, bicycle.
